Jim Burnsworth of the show Western Extreme on Outdoor Channel came to Hawaii to hunt and fish with Hawaii Safaris. Jim and his camera men Austin and Josh started their trip with us by hunting sheep. We archery hunted sheep our first day together and had great action. Mat Bowman came with us to help out moving the truck and helping look for game while we hunted. We ended up having great stalks and saw a bunch of sheep. We got a good representative sheep and then got this nice sheep he shot at 65 yards. It was amazing for Mat and I to watch Jim shoot. It was nice to see him practicing shots on our target at 100 yards right away. It was nice for me because I was able to extend out our range we are used to. He was saying he was comfortable at 80 yards for a shot. It turned out we didn’t need it but it was good to know we had it if we needed it. Jim and his camera men were fun to work with and it was neat to see them work together. In these shots you see the sheep he got that his sons filmed and the goats he got with Mat down South. Jim got great film of him shooting the goats from the top of the cliff. Mat helped pack the goats up the cliff late that evening.
