Today we went back to the grounds and things changed a bit. The swells were smaller and the current felt like it slowed down. There weren’t as many birds. The current had slowed down. We trolled up and missed a marlin that I marked on the screen. It looked like after fishing yesterday that we would have won the Skin in The Skins tournament with the bigger of the two we caught. That hurt that we weren’t in the tournament but we thought you just have to catch ’em when you can. What we didn’t know was we were about to do it again. At 10:00 we caught the Skin for the 3rd day of the Skin with a 600 plus. 500 pounds gets the Skin like in the Skins Golf tournaments. We caught her on live bait and she never jumped until we got the leader. Mat did a great job on the fish. He really had to hang on the get the fish before it got to tired to survive. Geza had the drag on full for most of the fight and Paul got some good video and got the tag in the fish. The video is soon to come. I had to drive to hard on the fish so I couldn’t take pictures. I got this shot but it doesn’t do the fish much justice. It was ready to jump here but could keep with when I had to really start driving on the fish.
