Larry ,Gregs dad got these shots of a nice fish we got on the tide change in front of the harbor. The fish stayed close to the boat and put on a great show. The wide angle lens that Larry was using caught the whole show here. I saw the fish coming for the stinger and actually tried to take the lure away from the fish and tease it in to the 130s because I thought it was a lot bigger.Too big for that rod and luckily when I wasn’t able to get it away from her as fast as I could it turned out to be catchable in 25 minutes. Mat I saw the fish charging around back there at it looked huge at times. There was a swell that help make the fish look big back there as it chased my lure. Greg did a great job and thankfully the fish stayed on the surface and we were able to have fun with it. It was great to see this fish going into the tournaments starting tomorrow although we hoped we didn’t burn up our luck. We got a tag in the fish it like Mat’s Billfish Foundation shirts says we hope for “Fish Forever” by letting these big ones go.
