Izzy Ribinski caught the new biggest tuna of the year on the Northern Lights. We had a really tough day to begin with. It was hard to get the baits to the boat and the dolphins would steal them when we would finally get the good ones. We ran from the dolphins and finally got where they wouldn’t steal the baits and got bit. Our circle hook found a spot in the corner of the tuna’s mouth. A few years ago Terry Fohey caught a 240 that was the largest of that year. This one is a really nice tuna but for the kind of year this is shaping up to be here in Kona it may not be for long.
