Friends Brian and Noll came to hunt on the Big Island with us. We had a schedule issue to begin with and appreciate the guys patience while we worked it out. We seem to get busy all at once and had a overlap when they got here. We rescheduled their hunt and it turned out to be a good thing. We had good movement all morning into the mid morning and got on a good herds. Brian got a good sheep out of the first bunch we saw and although we saw another ram in that herd Noll waited. I the early afternoon we found a small herd in a remote spot and were able to get on them. Noll made a great shot through the trees and we got this nice ram. The ram had a broad head stuck in its horn. This was upsetting to see because we can see that unauthorized hunting has been going on. Seeing signs like this the security has been bumped up with more cameras and patrol being put in place.
