Our friend Masa fished with us again this year and had a great couple days. We started with this active blue early on day one followed by a mahi then a spearfish. Day 2 we had to wait awhile but at lunch time we caught a spearfish then found a porpoise pod and go a bite on this nice 168 pound tuna. We worked our way inside of C buoy where we had a big Blue pile on one of Masa’s lures and come off after a bunch of line ripped off. We capped off the trip by getting covered up by 4 sailfish. We managed to get a tag in one of them but couldn’t hook the rest of them on our Marlin lures. Rare to see sails here in Hawaii. Short a blue for a slam we tried an extra hour watching a couple boats catch them around us.
