Slippahs and Fishing Memoriesby Captain Kevin Nakamaruin Kona Lifeon Posted on July 10, 2019January 5, 2020 I saw this and it shot me back to when I was little and my parents took me fishing.I can remember so many details of those early fishing trips. The best was when we would try for a ono on the way in or when I got to catch the aku for live bait. I was drinking in the process of getting ready, loading the boat, fishing, and cleaning it all up.It was a ton of work but it never felt like work to me. I feel that it increased my tolerance of hard work and I didn’t even realize it.
