Pam Basco Potential World Record Spear

Pam Basco caught a potential world record spear on 16lb tippet yesterday. As I posted we had heart break the day before with one we caught that due to a tackle issue couldn’t apply. Pam and I have caught a number of records together over 18years. Fought and lost countless record fish with my whole alumni of top notch mates so it was so nice to finally get one. To catch records together 18yrs apart shows her loyalty as an angler and friend. Thanks Richard Richardson for the help giving us all the shot to be out there. Also big congrats to my mates David Borges and Diamond Dave for a job well done.

Nice ahi in the blind for Pepe yesterday missed a nice blue on our Koya 961.
Nice start for Pepe and Ricardo with a action packed day. The conditions were rough but we were able to fish until we caught them each their spearfish to complete their royal slams.
We almost had a slam for the day but we jumped off the 2 blues that we saw. Nice to have the Spearfish mission done on the first day.
