David Borges with angler Masao with our 142 pound ahi to take the lead in the ahi division. We tagged 2 blues for team mate Keiji who leads top angler after day one.
We lead the charter division most of the day with our early tags but Captain Kai Hoover on the Waiopai went ahead with a Spearfish tag. Got off to a good start but it is going to take a bunch of tags to win this year.
