TART 28 Big thanks to Ken for another great TART.
We all had a Great night at the Holualoa inn catered by Katherine Louie. Tournament Photographer Kevin Hibard and Farish Media did another amazing job capturing the week of fishing.
Finally thanks and congratulations to my crew Diamond DAVE Bensko and Kyle Vannatta for great teamwork to take First this year.

Henry Chee Award at the 2019 Hawaiian International Billfishing Tournament Banquet

2nd Place Henry Chee award at the 2019 HIBT Banquet. Nice to be included in such a historic part of Kona fishing. The HIBT put Kona Marlin Fishing on the map showcasing Kona’s best in the fleet for 60 years. Congratulations to all the captains and teams that pushed this tournament to a down to the wire finish.

HIBT Day 5 Recap

Day 5 turned out to be an exciting finish for a super close race to the finish.
Foxy Lady came up from behind to almost first early knocking us to 5th. We answered back releasing a blue moving us to second at mid day.
The afternoon fishing slowed and we weren’t able to catch either a blue or spear to win. Congratulations to Capt Kevin Hibard on the Second Offense for winning the Henry Chee Award
