After an hour of 50 pounds of drag Dana got the leader. A nice fish in the 600 pound range got hooked in the dorsal hump. We were going to put a sat tag in the fish and before I could get it in it the hook finally pulled out right there.
Glad we got it that far to see what gave us such a great fight. She never jumped so our only vision if it pulled off down deep was the fish dozering on the stinger. They have a way of growing in your mind with no confirmation.
