The Martins Hooking an Ahiby Captain Kevin Nakamaru2019 Catches, Hawaii Fishing, Kona Fishing ReportPosted on July 20, 2019January 5, 2020Comments are Disabled The Martins with a great day. We caught this ahi in 2 minutes after hooking it trolling. We hooked up and thought it was a ono. I realized it was an ahi when it was 60 feet away.Dave got the leader in under 2 minutes it swam up the side and I gaffed it. Had to hang on at that point but we survived it. We missed a couple blues and released 3 spears.
