2nd Place Henry Chee award at the 2019 HIBT Banquet. Nice to be included in such a historic part of Kona fishing. The HIBT put Kona Marlin Fishing on the map showcasing Kona’s best in the fleet for 60 years. Congratulations to all the captains and teams that pushed this tournament to a down to the wire finish.

The Martins Hooking an Ahi

The Martins with a great day. We caught this ahi in 2 minutes after hooking it trolling. We hooked up and thought it was a ono. I realized it was an ahi when it was 60 feet away.
Dave got the leader in under 2 minutes it swam up the side and I gaffed it. Had to hang on at that point but we survived it. We missed a couple blues and released 3 spears.
