Laurel David caught another Potential World Record for the under 10 year old category. We actually fished the first day of the Skins tournament with Joe and Jim with no big bites The over all fishing for the fleet was really slow and with no “skins” caught it would be the first tag of the day that would take the daily. We had seen the Bigeye tuna at the buoy and the current record caught on the Northern Lights a few years ago by the Freeze family. Getting there late in the day the fish were shy and we had a hard time getting them to bite. After numerous gear changes Laurel caught this nice Bigeye over 10 pounds beating the current record by a couple pounds. Brother James helped with rigging gear and with the net to help her sister with her catch. This makes 4 records for Laurel and another record set on the Northern Lights! Congrats!
