Dr Mark Masunaga, son Tate and friend Dr Tom caught this nice ahi in the dolphins on the stick. We had a long wait while the tuna came from the depths where they could see us. Finally we got bit and caught this nice one. As soon as we caught this one we trolled north late in the afternoon and had a small blue on the long rigger. It jumped off right away. A quarter mile north we had another bite and it came off right away. Being late we headed north towards home and as we passed VV buoy we had a 300 pounder on the short lure. After a a 5 minute fight it jumped off as well. We almost got to the harbor and had another small blue chase the lures and finally bite a short bite and come off. Great action with no way to make em count. Good fun getting bit but frustrating not tagging any today.
